Day 1

BRAINERD – WINNIPEG

We’re off to visit our friendly neighbors to the north in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where we tour the world at Folklorama—the Festival of Nations! We board our deluxe air-conditioned motorcoach this morning and travel north to Winnipeg. Upon arrival, we settle into our hotel for a good night’s rest!

Day 2

WINNIPEG

This morning we visit Lower Fort Garry, just north of Winnipeg. Restored and furnished in the 1800’s fashion, we tour the big house, the fur loft, warehouse, engineer’s cottage, and the blacksmith’s shop. This afternoon we visit the Manitoba Museum, featuring the history and culture of this fascinating province. Tonight you experience the internationally acclaimed FOLKLORAMA—Canada’s #1 festival! We will experience an evening tour of three countries; the first pavilion provides an appetizer, the second treats you to a tasty international dinner with beverage, and at the third stop you’ll enjoy a tempting dessert—all stops with entertainment and cultural displays unique to each country. This “Festival of Nations” will be a celebration you will not soon forget! (B D)

Day 3

WINNIPEG

Today we enjoy a guided tour of the city. Later this evening, experience another taste of Folklorama with its International flavors! (B D)

Day 4

WINNIPEG – BRAINERD

This morning we will visit the Royal Canadian Mint, where coins for Canada and other countries are produced. As we begin our journey home, there is time to visit with our new friends and to enjoy lunch along the way before arriving home. Winnipeg is truly an exciting place to visit and the “Festival of Nations” is something we will always cherish! (B L)

"Thanks for the great bus trip!"

My first time on a bus. Had a very good time and saw lots of great things. You're a very good tour guy. Liked your sense of humor. Met some very nice people. Really enjoyed Elvis. Hope to take another trip in the future. Thanks again.

"I look forward to all my tours with PTS!"

Thank you for taking good care of me and the other travelers on the Mexican Cruise. From the time we left Brainerd until our return, you were always there for us.

"It is a treat to have real travel pros like yourself worry about the details."

Though still "virtual rookies", Joyce and I want to thank you for welcoming us into the caring arms of both yourself and all the many friends of the Tour who travel with you regularly.
