Day 1

BRAINERD – GRAPEVINE

Depart Brainerd with pickups enroute and fly to Dallas-Fort Worth and begin our four-night stay in Grapevine—the Christmas Capital of Texas!

Day 2

GRAPEVINE

This morning enjoy the Grapevine Christmas Market and other shops along its quaint Main Street. After an included lunch at Harvest Hall, we head over to see ICE! at the Gaylord Texan Resort. Past years themes have included A Charlie Brown Christmas, Elf and A Christmas Story! Return downtown to experience the Grapevine Parade of Lights complete with marching bands & Christmas-themed floats. (B L)

Day 3

GRAPEVINE

A lot to do and see today! We’ll experience a Hometown Christmas at Nash Farm with special interactive exhibits. Be entertained after lunch at the Palace Theater for their Big Band Holiday Swing Show. Tonight enjoy a hilarious Christmas themed Whodunnit at the Texas Star Dinner Theater. (B L D)

Day 4

FORT WORTH

We’re off to Fort Worth to visit John Wayne: An American Experience. Featuring over 400 pieces of personal and professional memorabilia, the exhibit will take you through John Wayne’s life and how he achieved the ultimate American dream through hard work and determination. After lunch on your own at the Fort Worth Stockyards, we travel to Arlington for a visit to the Christkindl Market for holiday fun and shopping. We end our time in Grapevine with a final Christmas Show at the Palace Theater. (B D)

Day 5

GRAPEVINE – FREDERICKSBURG

We head south to Fredericksburg where we’ll visit the National Museum of the Pacific War. This museum preserves and shares the personal stories, artifacts, and experiences of those who were shaped by World War II. Later you’re invited to experience the story of the town’s German heritage with holiday music and concluding with a lighting of the Marktplatz. (B L)

Day 6

FREDERICKSBURG – SAN ANTONIO

Off to San Antonio today! We’ll visit the world-famous Alamo for a private guided tour. Lunch is at the Buckhorn Saloon with an included tour of their fabulous museum. Later we visit the Briscoe Western Art Museum. The museum spans three levels with nine galleries and includes notable highlights like Pancho Villa’s saddle, a diorama of the Alamo, and an authentic Chuckwagon. Wrap up our tour this evening with a private Christmas Lights River Cruise—a popular way to experience the holiday lights along the Riverwalk during the Christmas season. Our private charter boat will even pick us up at our Riverwalk hotel so you don’t have to stress. Always care-free traveling with PTS Tours! (B L)

SAN ANTONIO – BRAINERD

Fly to Minnesota today reminiscing about the fun and holiday cheer we had in Texas! (B)
