Day 1
BRAINERD – ROCKFORD
On our drive to Rockford, IL we get acquainted with fellow travelers, all of us eager to enjoy the special activities that Nashville has waiting for us. “Music City USA” turns on the lights, over two million of them, for their Country Christmas celebration!
Day 2
ROCKFORD – CLARKSVILLE
This morning we cross both the Mississippi River and the Ohio River. We arrive in Clarksville, TN this evening and enjoy a wonderful dinner and entertainment by the bluegrass band Passenger Creek! (B D)
Day 3
CLARKSVILLE – NASHVILLE
After a leisurely morning, we head into Nashville for a visit to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel where you’ll have time to see the outstanding Christmas decorations, grab a quick bite to eat & shop ‘til you drop! Before settling in for the evening, we’ll enjoy a tasting at Ole Smokey Moonshine. We travel to our hotel just outside of Nashville for the next three nights. (B DD)
Day 4
NASHVILLE
We begin our day with a Nashville Guided City Tour, driving past homes of the stars and major sights in the city. Then it’s off to Belle Meade Plantation for a delicious lunch and tour of this antebellum home. Learn about Victorian holiday traditions and find out more about how the families who lived in the house at Belle Meade celebrated Christmas. This afternoon we visit the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum has been called the “Smithsonian of country music,” celebrated for its broad cultural impact, educational mission, and unrivaled collection of historically important artifacts related to country music. This evening enjoy a dinner cruise on the famous General Jackson Showboat! The show features beloved classic Christmas songs by artists like Bing Crosby and Nat King Cole, Mariah Carey, Michael Bublé and more! (B L D)
Day 5
NASHVILLE
First thing today we visit Cheekwood Gardens. We’ll enjoy lunch before heading to the world-famous Grand Ole Opry for a Backstage Tour! Enjoy an immersive theater experience that transports you through 100 years of Opry magic. Relive unforgettable Opry moments and hear behind-the-scenes stories of the stars who shaped the Opry’s legacy. See the infamous Artists Entrance, where stars walk into the world-famous Opry every night. Explore artist-only backstage spaces. Go Behind the Airwaves at WSM, the working studio and radio home of the Opry. After an included dinner at Paula Deen’s Restaurant, enjoy a 100th anniversary performance of the Grand Ole Opry’s Country Christmas Show. (B L D)

NASHVILLE – ROCKFORD
After four days, the sound of the Tennessee twang has become familiar, and it is with reluctance that we leave Nashville this morning. We overnight in Rockford, Illinois. (B D)
Day 7
ROCKFORD – BRAINERD
We’ll have a continental breakfast before the short journey home to Brainerd, laughing and smiling with memories of our Nashville Country Christmas! (B L)
